Bears, Hares & Bunnies

Roxy - Jacqueline's Bears

Jacqueline’s bears, hares and bunnies are all about attentions to detail … the history, the design, the make up, and of course the best materials from top suppliers. Jacqueline currently has 5 collections. Each collection has it’s own special uniqueness.

Each bear, hare and bunny is made from the finest quality mohair, with movable cotter pin joints, glass eyes and an embroidered snout.

Workshops

Silk ribbon embroidery is fun, easy to master and very versatile. The three-dimensional effect of this soft, tactile form of needlework is one of its most endearing qualities. Although a variety of ribbons can be used in embroidery, pure silk ribbons are the only ribbons fine enough to slip through the eye of a thin chenille needle and then though fabric to create delicate silk flowers. Silk ribbon embroidery uses a few stitching techniques that are unique but do not let this put you off as they are very easy to learn.

Jacqueline’s Bears Gallery

If you are looking for inspiration, have a look at the student gallery. This is where we celebrate student projects. Some students have had previous bear making experience, however for many this is their first bear or the first time they have picked up a needle since school. Jacqueline invites you to come and join us on your own learning journey. Come and join like minded people and indulge yourself with a little mindful Me time. Because, you deserve it!
